Meet Alisha
Alisha is our Kentucky-based crafter, specializing in natural, handmade candles and wax melts. She uses woodsy and floral scents that bring the outdoors in, along with a variety of other scents to suit different preferences. Beyond crafting, Alisha raises backyard chickens and tends to her garden, where she grows produce and herbs that she plans to sell to her local community. Her passion for gardening and self-sufficiency shines through her creations, offering products that carry the warmth and charm of a true homestead.
Meet Makayla
From her home in Florida, Makayla manages Homestead Hodgepodge’s online presence, learning the art of marketing as she goes to support her mom’s dream. Soon, she’ll be adding her own creative touch with upcycled jewelry and clothing, designed for both people and pets. Makayla shares her mother’s passion for homesteading and is beginning her journey toward building a homestead of her own with her partner. Together, they dream of creating a sustainable legacy to pass down to their future children.
